Activo Terapiapalvelut is an occupational therapy provider founded in 2020 and serving Oulu and the wider North Ostrobothnia region of Finland. It offers therapy for children, young people and adults, supporting everyday functioning, participation and the development or maintenance of practical skills. Services are guided by an individual rehabilitation plan, with goals set collaboratively and progress reviewed regularly. Therapy can take place partly or entirely in the client’s own environment, at a clinic or remotely.

The practice is a provider of Kela’s demanding medical rehabilitation individual occupational therapy in Oulu and nearby municipalities, including Kempele, Liminka, Muhos and Ii. It also offers sensory integration therapy, a specialist approach intended to support children’s sensory processing through engaging, carefully adapted activities. The founder is a qualified occupational therapist with experience dating from 2006 and specialist training in sensory integration. Communication supports, including sign-supported communication and pictures, may be used in therapy. Services are delivered in Finnish, with an emphasis on individual needs, collaboration, confidentiality and meaningful daily life.
