About ACTT TECH
ACTT is an organization dedicated to promoting affordable Computers & Technology for Tanzania. With the mission of empowering Tanzanian society and supporting ICT within schools, ACTT offers a wide range of products and services. They supply low-cost, new, and refurbished computers and peripherals to Tanzanian schools, ensuring access to ICT resources.
Additionally, ACTT provides computer maintenance and repairs, environmentally-friendly disposal of PCs and peripherals, and essential ICT training services. By setting up sustainable computer labs in educational institutions and equipping young Tanzanians with computer maintenance skills, ACTT plays a crucial role in empowering vulnerable youths. They have trained over 30,000 students in basic ICT skills and supported over 150 educational institutions in establishing computer labs.
ACTT's goal is to support at least 30 new schools annually for the next 5 years, thereby providing limitless learning opportunities and general information access. Their vision is to create an empowered, ICT-knowledgeable community that plays a key role in national development.
