About ACTU PERÚ
Brand:
ACTU (Autoridad de Transporte Urbano para Lima y Callao) is a strategic alliance between the Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima (MML), the National Police, and the ATU (Autoridad de Transporte Urbano) that aims to improve public transportation in Lima, Peru. As part of their efforts, they have implemented segregated lanes along Abancay Avenue to prioritize public transport and reduce travel time. This initiative benefits over 70,300 users of the Morado Corridor and 132,000 users of conventional transportation, who can now save approximately 15 minutes on their daily commute. The implementation of exclusive lanes also enhances safety by preventing private vehicles from overtaking or crossing, reducing the risk of accidents. Additionally, new vertical and horizontal signage has been installed, existing infrastructure has been improved, and asphalt pavement has been enhanced. With these segregated lanes, ACTU and its partners prioritize public transport and ensure smoother and safer journeys for the citizens of Lima.
