About Act Up-Paris
Act Up-Paris is an association fighting against HIV/AIDS, originated from the homosexual community. Our organization brings together people living with HIV, activists concerned about the disease, and individuals from various sexual orientations and gender identities who believe that HIV is not a predetermined fate. We believe that political responses are essential to combat this epidemic, and that defeating AIDS goes beyond the scope of medicine alone.
Our brand offers a wide range of services to address HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and hepatitis. These services include social rights advocacy, treatment and research information, prevention strategies such as regular testing and diversified prevention methods, as well as fighting against discrimination towards people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQI+ individuals, women, migrants, and sex workers.
