About ACVN Architects
ACVN Architects is a family-owned architectural brand based in Fredericksburg, VA. Co-founded by architects Dugan and Andreina, who met while working at the U. S.
Consulate in Guayaquil, Ecuador, ACVN offers a range of architectural services for both residential and commercial projects. With a combined 30 years of experience, Dugan and Andreina have worked on various projects, from kitchen renovations to neighborhood designs and $100 million Department of State compounds. Their focus lies in energy efficiency and applying building science principles to their designs.
ACVN aims to create thermally comfortable, cost-effective buildings that use less energy, incorporating concepts such as deep energy retrofits, net-zero, ‘Net Zero Ready’, and Passivhaus.
