The Associação Distrital de Atletismo de Leiria (ADAL) is the district athletics association serving the Leiria area of Portugal. It supports and coordinates athletics through information, competition resources, club support and training. The association publishes a directory of affiliated clubs, its governing bodies, statutes, internal regulations, activity plans and reports, as well as guidance and circulars for the athletics community.

ADAL provides calendars and regulations for its events and competitions, including the district middle-distance circuit, trail and sprint trail events, and qualification standards. Its website also shares competition results, rankings and district records, helping athletes and clubs follow performance and progress. News updates cover local athletics and related activities, while event listings highlight races and gatherings across the district, from road running and half marathons to trail events and children’s athletics.

The association offers access to training information and links to the Portuguese Athletics Federation portal. Based at Leiria Municipal Stadium, ADAL serves as a point of contact for clubs, athletes and others involved in the region’s athletics community.
