Adapt Institute is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit think-tank that focuses on defense and security policy. We are dedicated to making strategic adaptations and analyzing changes in the security environment. Established in 2022, Adapt Institute builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessors, the Strategic Policy Institute (Stratpol) and the Slovak Security Policy Institute (SSPI).

Our team has extensive experience in areas such as hybrid threats, armed conflicts, social resilience, Euro-Atlantic relations, and foreign influence. We facilitate expert dialogue, conduct in-house research, and promote security topics through conferences, presentations, and briefings. Additionally, we offer educational programs like the Security Academy, which provides young professionals with valuable insights from leading local and international security experts.

We also combat disinformation through our multimedia platform, Infosecurity. sk. Our goal is to foster consensus on defense and security priorities within the Slovak Republic, all while ensuring the general public stays informed through our newsletter, Adapt Newsletter.
