About ADASA NPC
ADASA, the Association for Dementia and Alzheimer’s of South Africa NPC, is dedicated to promoting well-being and best practices in dementia care since 1985. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. With 29 staff members across all 9 provinces, we work tirelessly to provide support services, training, and advocacy.
Our logo symbolizes inclusivity and care, with puzzle pieces representing memory loss and the forget-me-not flower signifying remembrance. ADASA aims to create an inclusive society that respects the rights of those affected by dementia. Through advocacy, awareness, education, and support, we strive to empower individuals with dementia to thrive with dignity.
If you or a loved one need help, our national helpline is available for assistance, and we offer training courses and psycho-social support services both online and in person. Join us in our mission to make memories matter and support those impacted by dementia.
