About ADCjoza
Welcome to ADC Joza! The Assumption Development Centre is a vibrant space in the heart of the Joza community, dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and business skill development in a community-sensitive way. With partnerships with Rhodes University, the Makana Municipality, the Grahamstown Business Forum, and the National Arts Festival, ADC strives to create opportunities and support for aspiring entrepreneurs and job seekers.
The ADC offers a range of services to its 350 members, including workshops, courses, IT facilities, mentorships, and advice. Members have access to two foundation courses - the Thabiso Life Skills Course and SaveAct - which focus on essential skills for personal and professional growth.
Since 2012, ADC's engagement with the Joza community has led to the establishment of 16 businesses that are currently operating in affiliation with ADC. The centre's dedication to transforming the local economy and empowering young people to explore their business ideas sets it apart.
