A.D.Fe (Associazione Diabete Ferrara) is a volunteer association founded in 2020 to support people living with diabetes and those who care about them in the Ferrara area. Built from members’ personal experiences, it offers a welcoming space to exchange information, share everyday challenges, and find practical ways to improve life with a chronic condition. The association also brings together patients, healthcare professionals, other community groups, and public institutions to encourage access to appropriate care and develop initiatives that respond to local needs.

A.D.Fe provides educational information about diabetes, prevention, complications, research, and useful health resources through its website and outreach activities. It shares personal experiences, news, events, and guidance intended to promote awareness and informed diabetes management. Its work includes community projects, collaborations, public awareness initiatives, and participation in institutional discussions. People can support the association by becoming members, volunteering, making donations, or contributing through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax designation. A.D.Fe welcomes volunteers with or without diabetes and encourages ideas that can strengthen support for individuals, families, and the wider community.
