ADHS Experten Eltern

ADHS Experten Eltern is a parent-support service based in Rheine, Germany, created to help families navigate everyday challenges associated with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It offers individual and group coaching for parents of children with ADHD, with guidance tailored to each family’s needs. Sessions help parents understand their child’s situation, develop practical strategies for home life, and approach difficulties with greater confidence. Individual consultations are also available online through Zoom or Teams.

For families awaiting an assessment or newly receiving a diagnosis, the service provides advice on possible next steps, support options, and therapy questions. Group programmes combine information about ADHD with discussion and peer exchange, while workshops address subjects such as understanding ADHD, homework challenges, and adolescence. Workshops take place in small groups, allowing time for conversation and shared experience. The service is led by a state-recognised early childhood educator and inclusion worker with further training in ADHD parent counselling and parent coaching. Its aim is to strengthen family wellbeing through personal, practical support.
