A D Movers

A & D Movers is a family-run moving business founded by Andrew and Denise King, serving households and offices in Cape Town’s southern suburbs and surrounding areas. With more than 20 years of experience, the company provides owner-supervised moves, combining personal service with a punctual and reliable team. Its services include mini moves for one or several items, half-day moves for smaller homes, flats, cottages and offices, and full-day or multi-day moves for larger homes or properties with difficult access.

A & D Movers uses a 2.5-tonne enclosed truck, with a four-metre trailer available when needed. Blankets and plastic wrapping are supplied to protect belongings, while additional packing materials, such as bubble wrap and corrugated board, can be arranged. In-transit insurance is provided for peace of mind. The team secures goods during transport, can disassemble and reassemble furniture, and places items in specified areas at the destination. Customers can request a quotation and, if helpful, arrange a walk-through assessment before booking.
