Enfance & Familles d’Adoption (EFA) is a French national federation bringing together 92 departmental associations and nearly 6,000 adoptive families and adult adoptees. The organization provides information and guidance on adoption in France and abroad, helping prospective parents prepare for the process and supporting adoptive families as they navigate parenthood. EFA also offers support to adopted people as they explore questions about their origins and experiences. It does not place children for adoption.

Through its association network, EFA shares practical resources on adoption, child health, attachment, development, education, and family life. Its services include training for professionals, a national listening helpline, publications, the Accueil magazine, a newsletter, and an online information and resource library. The federation also raises public awareness, publishes positions on adoption-related issues, and reports on current developments. Additional resources include reading and viewing recommendations, specialist directories, and a shop featuring EFA materials. By connecting families, adoptees, and professionals, EFA aims to provide informed, ongoing support throughout adoption journeys.
