AdoptMeApp is a digital tool designed to help animal welfare organizations increase pet adoptions and support the lives of animals in their care. The app enables shelter staff and volunteers to create personal diary entries for adoptable pets by adding a photo and caption. These stories appear as an ongoing feed on each pet’s shelter profile, giving potential adopters a way to learn more about an animal’s personality and day-to-day experiences.

Shelters can contact AdoptMeApp to enable the service at no cost. The platform features stories from partner organizations across the United States, including municipal animal services, county shelters, and humane societies. AdoptMeApp also provides an app demonstration, user information, tips, and a flyer for shelters interested in learning more. The site invites supporters to help fund continued operations through donations, including a suggested monthly contribution, and provides contact details for implementation inquiries and communication with its CEO. By making it easier to share pets’ stories, AdoptMeApp helps shelters present adoptable animals to prospective families.
