Adorea Olomouc

Adorea is an Olomouc-based historical fencing group founded in 1998. The association studies, practices and presents historical swordsmanship, with a focus on authentic period techniques and combat traditions. Its work draws on surviving fencing manuals and modern stunt-training experience, while supporting the legacy of fencing master Peter Koza and the Magisterium school of European martial arts. Adorea is also part of the Paridon fencing school.

The group creates performances and tailored programmes for public, private and corporate events, including festivals, celebrations and formal gatherings. Its repertoire ranges from humorous swordplay and pirate adventures to historical scenes, period-themed shows, demonstrations and atmospheric night performances featuring fire and theatrical effects. Adorea also provides fencing instruction, training for actors, fight choreography and stunt work for film and theatre. Its members have participated in film productions, stage shows and events in the Czech Republic and abroad. The association also organises the Festival of Military History at Helfštýn Castle, bringing historical and fencing groups together for a public programme.
