Adra-Vitium Esélyegyenlőség alapítvány

Adra-Vitium Equal Opportunity Foundation is a Hungarian nonprofit organization that supports children and newborns facing serious health challenges. Its work focuses particularly on pediatric cardiology and the care of premature, low-birth-weight and critically ill infants. The foundation helps healthcare institutions improve diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation by funding and donating medical equipment.

Recent support for the neonatal intensive care unit at Péterfy Sándor Street Hospital has included monitors, phototherapy equipment, ventilation systems and incubators. Its broader contributions have also included devices such as hearing testers, ECG machines and blood pressure monitors, as well as support for rehabilitation programs for children who have undergone heart surgery. In collaboration with the CardioControl exercise physiology laboratory, the foundation has also helped make pediatric cardiology advice available through video consultations, with in-person hospital examinations arranged when needed.

Funded by donations, grants and supporters’ personal income tax contributions, Adra-Vitium channels resources to healthcare providers and works to improve the chances of survival, healthy development and equitable care for vulnerable children
