AdvaMat s.r.o. is an innovative brand that specializes in the production and development of thin coatings and materials. We offer PVD coatings that enhance the lifespan and usability of tools and components. Our range includes both commonly used coatings available on the European market (TiAlN, CrN, DLC) and customized coatings tailored to specific needs.

Our expertise lies in advanced PVD coating for shaping and cutting tools, as well as coating parts with PVD and DLC coatings. We apply PVD coatings to inserts, molds, extrusion, and rolling tools used in metal, plastic, and ceramic forming. Our surface treatments extend the lifespan and functionality of machine parts and components in industries such as mechanical, aerospace, automotive, optical, and food processing.

Additionally, we specialize in DLC coating, which is applied to machine parts, sliding bearings, and tools. DLC coatings offer reduced friction, protect tools against adhesive and abrasive wear, and provide efficient corrosion protection. We have experience in both large-scale production and customized manufacturing.

Led by Professor Ing. Tomáš Polcar, Ph.D., a renowned expert in PVD coatings and tribology, AdvaMat aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by translating cutting-edge scientific research into practical solutions for businesses. Our partnership with Šlechta, a.s., an established Czech company specializing in polishing and tool servicing, ensures seamless integration of our technologies and an expanded range of surface treatments.

Located in Jihlava, the Czech Republic, AdvaMat continues its focus on research and development while entrusting commercial coating operations to Šlechta, which will also maintain the existing coating facility. This collaboration benefits our customers by providing a wider range of surface treatments, greater stability, and continued advancements in coating technologies.
