Advanced Volleyball Training

Advanced Volleyball Training (AVT) helps volleyball players and coaches develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Based in Orange City, Iowa, the organization is led by owner Kyle Van Den Bosch, whose coaching career includes eight years at the high school level and 19 years as head coach at Northwestern College. During his college coaching tenure, he recorded 525 wins, earned eight GPAC Coach of the Year honors, and coached numerous All-Conference players, All-Americans, and award winners.

AVT offers individual lessons with personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each player’s needs and learning style. Its group training brings players together for drills and scrimmages designed to improve skills, game awareness, and decision-making. The organization also provides coach mentoring to help coaches lead confidently, communicate clearly, and build lasting programs. With nearly 30 years of experience training players of different ages, Van Den Bosch and his staff aim to help participants reach a stronger level of performance.
