About Adventures of Roxy
Adventures of Roxy is a brand that aims to inspire and educate children through engaging storytelling. Created by Hillary Sussman, a physical therapist with 23 years of experience, Adventures of Roxy uses the journey of her own dog, Roxy, to help kids facing physical challenges gain confidence and overcome limitations. Hillary's first book, Roxy and Maliboo: It's Okay to Be Different, introduces two lovable dogs with unique features who teach important lessons about limb difference awareness, inclusion, kindness, and acceptance.
In her newest book, Roxy and Tully: Words Matter, Roxy continues her adventures and raises awareness about prosthetics, handling bullying, and the impact of word choices. The Adventures of Roxy series will feature Roxy's continuous growth, as she learns something new in each book, makes new friends, and faces new challenges. Hillary also offers programs to schools and organizations, spreading Roxy's important messages further.
