AdvoKate Foundation

The AdvoKATE Foundation is a volunteer-led nonprofit created to honor Kate Campa’s legacy and support the fight against childhood cancer. Based in Yuma County, Arizona, the organization brings together community members with personal connections to Kate and the cancer journey. Its work focuses on raising awareness and funds, supporting children and families, and advancing research and education.

The foundation’s initiatives offer practical and community-based support. Kate’s Kits provide comfort items inspired by Kate’s favorite things to children fighting cancer, while AdvoKATE Projects help grant wishes for young patients. The organization also shares resources with families and advocates for those affected by pediatric cancer. Its Go Gold Go Bold projects build local awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the Let’s Dance Challenge raises awareness and funds for Dancers Against Cancer. In addition, the foundation awards annual scholarships to local Yuma County high school students.
