About AEAR
AEAR, also known as Animal Education & Rescue, is a not-for-profit organization based in Illinois. As a unique Humane Society, AEAR goes beyond finding homes for rescue pets. They are dedicated to helping the community through their main programs.
A key focus of their work is education, therapy, and rescue, with the aim of bringing people and pets together. AEAR offers a range of services and initiatives to achieve this goal. They have a team of dedicated investigators who respond to reports of animal abuse and neglect, while also educating owners on proper pet care and rescuing animals from bad situations.
Additionally, AEAR provides pet therapy visits to nursing homes and other approved facilities to bring joy and support to individuals in need. They also offer educational programs in local schools and community centers to teach kids about proper pet care. AEAR primarily operates in Lake County and the surrounding areas, emphasizing their commitment to the local community.
By donating or volunteering, you can help AEAR continue their mission and make a difference in the lives of animals and people. For more information or to get involved, visit their website or contact them directly
