Agrupamento de Escolas de Campo

Agrupamento de Escolas de Campo is a Portuguese public school group providing education from preschool through secondary level. Its network includes five basic schools—Azenha, Balselhas, Moirais, Outeiro and Retorta—which offer preschool and first-cycle primary education. Across the wider group, students can continue through the second and third cycles of basic education and into secondary school, with pathways in Languages and Humanities, Science and Technology, and Socioeconomic Sciences. The group also offers professional courses, including training in computer systems and networks, accounting, and educational support.

Alongside classroom learning, Agrupamento de Escolas de Campo provides enrichment activities, study support, library and resource-centre services, student and family support, and school meals. Its programmes include clubs and projects, such as Ciência em Campo, and participation in Erasmus+ vocational education initiatives. The school group publishes educational plans, calendars, assessment information, and enrolment guidance, and supports families through administrative services and dedicated communication channels. Its stated priorities include improving teaching, learning and assessment, with particular attention to Portuguese and mathematics during early and transitional school years.
