Associació Excursionista de Catalunya de Reus is a community association for people interested in outdoor activities, sport, and shared cultural pursuits. Based in Reus, it organizes regular excursions and events for members and visitors, including mountain walks, family outings, and the annual Reus-Prades-Reus route. Its activities also include training courses and preparatory outings, with opportunities to explore locations such as the Mola de Colldejou, Montsant, and the Ports Natural Park.
The association brings together several specialist sections. GEAM, its Group for Climbing and High Mountain, offers activities across disciplines such as climbing, canyoning, mountain skiing, via ferratas, and mountain running. Other sections focus on mountain biking, table tennis, chess, and sardana dancing through the Colla Sardanista Rosa de Reus. Members can take part in outings, meet others with similar interests, and share experiences through activity photos and community events. The association also welcomes new members and acknowledges the partners who support its activities, making it a broad-based club for recreation, learning, and social connection.
