About AEDARSA
AEDARSA, the Alberta Elevating Devices and Amusement Rides Safety Association, is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of safety for elevating devices, amusement rides, and passenger ropeways throughout Alberta. As an independent provincial body, AEDARSA oversees the installation and ongoing compliance of these systems, providing independent oversight to ensure the safety of Albertans. AEDARSA works closely with the amusement ride industry, ensuring that permanent and portable amusement rides are not only fun but also safe.
They are also certified to conduct in-service safety inspections of existing elevating devices, including escalators, elevators, industrial lifts, and dumbwaiters. AEDARSA leaves no stone unturned, ensuring that all safety codes and regulations are met and adhered to. Whether it's a chairlift for skiing or a gondola for sightseeing, AEDARSA collaborates closely with operators to ensure that passenger ropeways meet Alberta's strict safety requirements.
