The Students' Association of the Lisbon School of Medicine (AEFML), founded on 30 September 1914, is one of the largest student associations in Portugal. It is a non-profit association whose objective is to defend the interests of students of the Lisbon School of Medicine in scollar life and in society in general. By statute, all students enrolled have the right to democratic participation in associative life, namely to be elected to associative duties.

About AEFML
AEFML, the Association of Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, is one of the oldest student associations in Portugal. As a nonprofit organization, their main objective is to defend the interests of students at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) in their academic life and in society as a whole. AEFML offers a wide range of services and resources for students, including accommodation options, a library with medical resources, and volunteer opportunities.
They also organize various events, such as workshops, cultural activities, and sports events, to promote student engagement and well-being.
