Admira Games is an independent board game publisher founded in 2023 by Oliver and Jonas, friends who set out to create grand-strategy games that capture sweeping decisions without becoming slow or overloaded. Its featured game, Aegeapolis, is a strategy game set in Classical Greece in 431 BC, amid the Peloponnesian War. Players lead Athens, Sparta, Corinth, or Thebes as they compete for influence across a changing map of city-states.
The game combines exploration, trade, negotiation, alliances, territorial expansion, and combat, with each faction offering distinct abilities and play styles. Aegeapolis includes two modes in one box: a 2–4-player sandbox game and narrative campaign scenarios for 1–4 players, using the same components. Players take actions such as discovering cities, building trade links, trading, recruiting units, moving and fighting, pursuing missions, and changing government.
The game also features coins inspired by ancient currencies from eight historic mints. Designed for ages 14 and up, sessions range from around 60 minutes to several hours, depending on the mode and group
