The Associació d'Escritors en Llengua Valenciana (Aellva) is a prominent organization dedicated to fostering the Valencian language and literature. Established in December 1991, Aellva arose from the vision of writers like Miquel Castellano and Vicent Ramon Calatayud, bringing together a diverse group passionate about promoting Valencian literary works. Over the years, Aellva has published more than 50 titles, collaborating with various publishing houses, and currently boasts support from over 60 published authors.

Headquartered in Valencia, the association is dynamic, hosting a wide range of cultural events annually in various locations across the Valencian community. Its members hail from different towns within the Kingdom of Valencia and beyond, united by their commitment to the Valencian language. Aellva has also participated in significant cultural conferences and has been acknowledged at the European Parliament for its contributions to Valencian literature. Through its initiatives, Aellva continues to promote and preserve the rich literary heritage of the Valencian language.
