Agriculture Environmental Renewal Canada

Agriculture Environmental Renewal Canada (AERC) Inc. is a Canadian hybrid seed company based in Ottawa, focused on researching, developing and commercializing environmentally friendly, economically promising sorghum and pearl millet hybrids. Its products are intended to support farmers while contributing to agricultural sustainability and the responsible use of natural resources.

AERC offers Canadian forage and grain seeds, including pearl millet, forage sorghum, grain sorghum, sweet sorghum and sweet-stem pearl millet hybrids. These varieties serve a range of farm uses, such as grazing, green chop, silage, cover cropping and grain production. Depending on the hybrid, crops are suited to livestock feed, including dairy, beef, poultry, sheep and goats, while some grain varieties are also suitable for human consumption. The company highlights characteristics such as drought tolerance, forage yield, nutritional value and adaptation to different soil and climate conditions. Certain varieties can also support soil improvement or help manage root lesion nematodes. AERC provides product information and factsheets and serves customers across several Canadian provinces, including Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia.
