AERE EGKE

AERE–EGKE is an association dedicated to promoting Egyptological and papyrological research in Belgium. It connects people interested in ancient Egypt with scholarly work, educational opportunities, and current developments in the field. Its programme includes conferences, courses, study days, and visits or trips, with subjects such as Greco-Roman Egypt viewed through papyrological sources and Egyptological museums and collections.

AERE–EGKE shares news and information about Belgian Egyptology and presents material on its history, council, and the Jean Capart Fund, including a biography and bibliography of Jean Capart.
