The Aero-Club Berlin e. V. is a nonprofit gliding club based in Reinsdorf, south of Berlin, where members fly over the Fläming region.
With around 120 members aged 14 to 80, including approximately 80 active pilots, the club brings together people of varied ages who share an interest in soaring. Its main activities are gliding instruction, cross-country flying and aerobatics. The club operates six modern, composite-structure gliders: three two-seat aircraft and three single-seat aircraft, supporting training as well as advanced flying.
A modern, environmentally friendly launch winch powered by autogas helps pilots get airborne. The club’s website also provides information about joining, introductory flights, costs, directions, flying holidays, training and school partnerships. News and blog articles cover topics such as new aircraft, training camps and cross-country flying courses.
Through its aircraft, instruction and organized flying activities, Aero-Club Berlin offers opportunities for newcomers to discover gliding and for experienced pilots to develop their skills
