Aero-Club Pirmasens e. V. is a large flying club in southwest Germany, bringing together around 280 members from Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and eastern France. Guided by a spirit of community, commitment and equal opportunity, the club combines organised flying with camaraderie and shared enthusiasm for aviation.

The club offers training in four disciplines: powered flying, gliding, ultralight aviation and motor gliding. Its activities also include competitive sport, with the gliding team competing in the First Bundesliga since 2023 after winning the Second Bundesliga. Club pilots have achieved notable results in competition, including a bronze medal at the European Gliding Championship and a place in the top ten for another German pilot.

Based at Pirmasens-Pottschütthöhe airfield, the club provides information about its fleet, airfield and flying activities, and invites new members to join. Visitors can learn about club life, training options and events, including the planned 2026 air show. Aero-Club Pirmasens presents flying as both a skill to develop and a rewarding experience to share.
