Aéroclub du Pays d’Ancenis (ACPA) is an aviation club based at Ancenis aerodrome in France, welcoming aspiring and experienced pilots interested in recreational flying and flight training. Its fleet includes seven aircraft, among them an ultralight, and the club uses the aerodrome’s 1,200-metre paved runway, which has lighting for visual night flying.
ACPA offers flight instruction for private pilot licences, including PPL and LAPL training, as well as ultralight pilot qualifications. Student pilots can train with an instructor or progress through supervised flying, while qualified pilots can pursue further development, including tailwheel training and night-flying qualifications. Members can also enjoy local flights, trips and other recreational flying.
For newcomers, the club provides discovery flights, including introductory flying experiences in which participants can take the controls with an instructor. Its Handivol activity also makes discovery flights available at reduced prices for people with physical or cognitive disabilities. Aéroclub du Pays d’Ancenis combines pilot education, accessible aviation experiences and ongoing opportunities to enjoy flying from its local airfield.
