Aero Club Attendorn

Aero Club Attendorn e.V. is a model aviation club based in Attendorn, Germany. It began about 40 years ago when a group of enthusiastic model flyers met on weekends in fields around the town. As membership grew, the group established formal rules in 1984 and registered as an association with the district court in Olpe. The club also leased a flying site at Stesse, on the southwestern edge of Attendorn. In 1987, with support from municipal and district authorities, it received official permission from the Münster aviation authority to operate model aircraft there.

The club welcomes new members, with particular encouragement for young people, and invites prospective members to get in touch. Its website introduces the association and its board, and features a photo gallery, dates, events, beginner tips and useful links. These resources help visitors learn about the club and its activities, while the flying site provides a dedicated location for model aircraft enthusiasts to pursue their hobby.
