Union Aérienne de Châteauneuf-sur-Cher is a volunteer-run, nonprofit flying club founded in 1973. Based at the Châteauneuf-sur-Cher aerodrome, it promotes and organizes general aviation, welcoming people who want to discover flying, learn to pilot, or take part in the wider aviation community. The association is approved by the French ministries responsible for transport and youth and sport, and is affiliated with the French Aeronautical Federation and the French Ultralight Aviation Federation.

The club offers introductory flying experiences, including discovery flights, first flights and initiation packages, as well as pilot instruction, training and opportunities to build flying experience through travel. Its training includes preparation for various pilot certificates and the Brevet d’Initiation à l’Aéronautique. The club also lists aircraft F-BXJU and F-GBVH. In addition to its flying activities, Union Aérienne manages the Châteauneuf-sur-Cher aerodrome and its aviation-fuel station on behalf of the Arnon Boischaut Cher community of communes. Its website provides information for visitors and members, including flight-preparation resources, safety guidance, documents and club updates.
