Aeromedical

Aeromedical Emergency Services provides air and ground ambulance care, rescue response, and emergency dispatching, serving communities across Northwestern Alberta since 1988. The organization supports patients in towns, First Nations reserves, oilfield sites, and remote locations, where its experience with backcountry access is central to its operations. Its air ambulance service conducts rescue medevac missions regionally and has also undertaken international missions. Aeromedical has expanded into international repatriation flights, helping coordinate medical transport beyond its Alberta service area.

On the ground, Aeromedical operates a fleet of ambulances and provides both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support services throughout Northwestern Alberta. Its special services include operation of the regional E-911 system and dispatching for regional fire departments, allied agencies, and its own ambulance teams. These services bring transport and dispatch functions together as part of an integrated emergency medical response. With the stated commitment “Your Life. Our Priority,” Aeromedical also highlights its team, community involvement, and service regions. The organization is accredited with commendation by Accreditation Canada.
