Aeropers

AEROPERS is the professional association representing pilots and cockpit personnel of Swiss International Air Lines and Edelweiss Air. Founded in 1945, it advocates for members’ interests in dealings with their employers and serves as a recognised negotiating partner for both airlines. With approximately 1,500 active and 900 passive members, AEROPERS is Switzerland’s largest professional association for pilots.

Its work focuses on protecting jobs under the best possible conditions, maintaining active and reliable social partnerships, promoting innovative and sustainable contract provisions, and strengthening aviation expertise through connections with the media, other associations, business and politics. The association is led by a board of active SWISS and Edelweiss pilots, elected regularly by members, alongside its managing director. AEROPERS also acts as a knowledgeable point of contact on pilot-related matters for pilots, media, flight students and other interested parties.
