About Aeroseeder
AeroSeeder LLC is an agricultural drone builder and supplier based in Garnavillo, Iowa. They specialize in providing aerial cover crop seeding services to promote better land stewardship for future generations. AeroSeeder was born out of the desire to overcome the limitations of traditional crop dusters and provide a more efficient and effective solution.
In 2013, the President of CJ&L Inc, Loyal Leitgen, planted a cover crop on their farm using a crop duster, but it didn't turn out well due to late planting. This experience led to the development of a drone capable of carrying 20-30lbs and broadcasting cover crops. The compact platform of a drone makes it ideal for smaller acreages, enabling more service providers in the market and giving proficient farmers the opportunity to handle the jobs themselves.
