About AES
AES is an association of employers founded in 1990, with the aim of promoting principles of ethics, professionalism, and compliance with applicable legislation within the Private Security sector. With over 100 member companies and approximately 36,000 workers, AES plays a crucial role in ensuring a fair, regulated, and competitive industry. Their mission encompasses advocating for the enforcement of regulatory frameworks, including collective labor agreements, promoting fair competition, combatting anti-competitive practices, and advocating for effective regulation and oversight by relevant authorities.
Additionally, AES works towards the concept of shared responsibility between public and private entities that acquire security services, through the legal principle of joint liability. AES also actively participates in conferences and engages with relevant government departments in order to shape policies and ensure that the private security sector contributes to the overall internal safety of the country
