Ascendant Engineering Solutions offers the Small-UAS Tactical Agile Gimbal (STAG) family, a line of best-in-class stabilized systems for gimbal applications. Designed for the Common Launch Tube and other gimbal applications, this family of gimbals supports STANAG compliant laser designation in small UAS class gimbal payload. With an open architecture and common platform base, the STAG family delivers precision pointing and controls across a wide range of mission optimized payloads.
The STAG family consists of different models, including STAG4, STAG5, and STAG8, each providing a broad range of ISR and Targeting capabilities. These gimbals feature precision two axis stabilization, integrated GPS/INS for geopointing, high-definition image processing, multi-mode target tracking, and Ethernet control supporting HD video with MISB metadata. The STAG8 family is designed for SWaP sensitive solutions, including Group 2-3 UAS, and offers high performance in a modular, MOSA compatible design.
