About Aether
Aether is a student-led team comprised of young Belgian engineers passionate about space technology. They are focused on designing a CubeSat, a nano-satellite small enough to fit in your hand. Aether aims to contribute to the ongoing advancements in the space industry by developing the technology needed for safe re-entry of CubeSats.
This will allow scientists to retrieve and analyze samples after the satellites have completed their experiments in orbit. With the affordability and accessibility that come with the CubeSat platform, Aether is dedicated to upholding the CubeSat standard and enabling further innovation. The project is divided into three CubeSat sub-missions, each focusing on different aspects of re-entry technology.
A strong and diverse team, supported by dedicated coaches, is working towards the successful completion of these missions. If you have a passion for space, innovation, and teamwork, Aether offers opportunities for both thesis and volunteer projects
