AeThex Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit corporation focused on expanding access to game-development education, portable credentials, community support, and public-interest digital infrastructure. Founded in 2017 and incorporated in 2025, the organization’s 501(c)(3) application is pending. Its mission is to help game builders turn practical work into transferable learning, credible proof of skills, and opportunities that are not tied to a single school, employer, or platform.

The Foundation’s programs include GameForge, a developing project-based learning and credentialing pathway centered on demonstrated work and reviewable competencies, and AeThex Education, a learning environment for courses, assessments, learner progress, mentors, and credentials. It also stewards Passport identity standards and portable records connecting participation, credentials, and AeThex services. Governance and public accountability efforts are being formed, with plans for board development, policies, transparency reporting, and future grant administration.

Learners can explore courses and pathways, while community members can connect through Discord. The Foundation also welcomes participation in education, governance, nonprofit operations, finance, and public-interest technology, and shares organizational information through its institutional and trust resources.
