About AfA Singapore
Action for AIDS Singapore (AfA Singapore) is Singapore's leading independent organization of HIV and sexual health experts and advocates. Established in 1988, AfA is a non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting HIV infection and AIDS in Singapore. With a network of healthcare professionals, advocates, educators, and volunteers, AfA implements a wide range of educational, testing, treatment, and welfare programs.
As a registered Social Service agency and an Institution of Public Character (IPC), AfA introduces innovative projects and manages programs that include educational outreach, HIV and STI testing, support, and welfare initiatives. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded through grants from government agencies, foundations, and corporate partners. AfA also relies on donations from private individuals and businesses.
