AFBL Commish

The American Federation Baseball League (AFBL) is a premier online baseball simulation league established in 2013, originally featuring 16 teams and expanding to 20 by 2017. Utilizing the Out of the Park Baseball (OOTP) gaming platform, the AFBL embraces fictional players and a dynamic league structure without the complexities of finances, scouting, or coaching systems. Teams are developed through the Amateur Draft, trading, and free-agent acquisitions from the United Baseball League (UBL), which was introduced in 2049 to provide opportunities for free agents to develop their skills.

The league boasts 20 franchises that include four levels of minor leagues along with an international complex. With a schedule of 162 games, AFBL encourages interleague play with an emphasis on divisional matchups. Supported by a vibrant community on platforms like Slack and StatsPlus, AFBL fosters a competitive environment where teams vie for the coveted Federation Cup, making it a thrilling experience for baseball enthusiasts.
