About AFCA Arts Culture
AFCA Arts Center is a leading contemporary arts and culture organization in Cairo, catering to the youth and the young at heart. Established in 2004 by theater director Mohamed El Ghawy, AFCA aims to foster a culturally and artistically enriched future generation. The organization offers a platform for exploration and experimentation in various arts disciplines, with a focus on Theatre and Performing Arts.
AFCA operates through three main bodies: AFCA Arts School provides arts and cultural workshops for children aged 0-18, AFCA Productions collaborates with local and international artists to create exceptional productions for young audiences, and AFCA Arts Center organizes the renowned Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children, the only one of its kind in Egypt. With a dedicated team of creative individuals, AFCA is committed to nurturing projects and initiatives that enhance the arts education landscape for children across Egypt.
