About African Fine Coffees Association
AFCA, the African Fine Coffees Association, was established in July 2000 as a non-profit, member-driven organization representing the coffee sectors of 12 member countries. Based in Africa, AFCA offers a wide range of programs and activities to promote and enhance the coffee industry in the region.
With a focus on providing advanced cupping training, webinars, workshops, and direct coffee sourcing opportunities, AFCA strives to elevate the quality and standards of African coffee. The association also hosts conferences, exhibitions, and networking platforms like the Cupping Pavilion to facilitate industry interactions.
AFCA is dedicated to showcasing the unique flavor and quality of East African coffees, which are known for their floral notes and brightness. Through various initiatives and member benefits, AFCA aims to support the coffee producers and enthusiasts in the region.
