The Aire faunique communautaire du lac Saint-Pierre (AFC-LSP) promotes responsible fishing and nature-based experiences on Quebec’s Lake Saint-Pierre. The lake is part of a UNESCO biosphere reserve and a Ramsar wetland site, recognized for its valuable habitats and biodiversity. Its islands, marshes, bays, and open-water areas support diverse fish and wildlife, while some zones are seasonally protected.

The AFC-LSP helps visitors plan their fishing trips by providing online fishing authorizations, day-fishing information, regulations, seasonal updates, and practical tips. Its resources cover ice fishing, protected areas, fish species, and conservation practices such as successful catch-and-release. Visitors can also find information about local fishing guides, accommodation, boat rentals, outfitters, marinas, and winter fishing facilities.

The organization shares news, activity calendars, articles, and visitor reviews, and invites people to participate in events and contests. Through these services and resources, the AFC-LSP connects anglers with the lake while encouraging respect for its exceptional natural environment.
