About Allmänna Försvarsföreningen
Allmänna Försvarsföreningen (AFF) is the Swedish Defence Association, a non-profit organization that has been a platform for discussing defense and security policies for over 125 years. Their aim is to encourage open debate and provide free information on defense and security to anyone interested. With a central office in Stockholm and regional branches across Sweden, AFF organizes seminars, conferences, debates, and lectures throughout the country to actively engage in the defense and security policy discourse.
They also publish the magazine Our Defence (Vårt Försvar), which serves as an important forum for information and debate surrounding security and defense issues. AFF collaborates with various organizations on regional, national, and international levels. With a focus on knowledge, insight, and dialogue, AFF strives to foster understanding, critical thinking, and a well-rounded discussion on the threats and risks faced by our society.
