About Tom Schreyer
Affordable Shred has been dedicated to meeting your document destruction needs for years. Headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, our company offers a variety of shredding services to businesses and homes in Central Illinois. Our founder, Rick Weekly, transformed his knack for destroying things into a successful career in document destruction.
Rick's father recognized the shifting demand for shredded paper in 2003, prompting him to establish Affordable Shred as a separate division. Since then, we have grown from shredding 5,000 lbs of paper a month to over 125,000 lbs. As an AAA-certified member of the National Association of Information Destruction, we adhere to the highest industry standards.
We provide convenient on-site shredding with our mobile trucks equipped with cameras, ensuring you can witness the shredding process. Additionally, we offer a drop-off facility. Trust Affordable Shred to securely handle all your shredding needs.
