A Fighter’s Chance

A Fighter’s Chance Foundation is an outreach program that uses combat-sport training and mentorship to support youth and young adults who need direction. It works with people facing complex adversity, including addiction or chemical dependency, behavioral challenges, and difficulty finding a positive path. The foundation presents fight training not as a promotion of aggression, but as a structured, controlled outlet for stress and frustration and a way to build confidence, focus, and connection with others.

Through guided training, participants are encouraged to develop self-esteem, self-worth, a stronger work ethic, and the ability to set and pursue short- and long-term goals. The program aims to help young people move away from destructive behavior and become productive members of a supportive team. A distinctive feature is its community-service commitment: participants receiving scholarships must contribute 12 hours each month to the community. Donations and sponsorships help fund those scholarships and sustain the program. A Fighter’s Chance Foundation also shares information about its board, testimonials, and ways to support its work.
