About Arab Financial Inclusion Innovation Prize
The Arab Financial Inclusion Innovation Prize (AFIIP) is a leading platform in the Arab world that scouts for innovative solutions in the field of financial inclusion. With a focus on increasing the outreach and reducing the costs of financial services, AFIIP aims to build financial resilience and economic opportunities for individuals and businesses in the Arab world. In addition to its core focus, AFIIP also supports green finance, seeking financial innovations that can mitigate the risks of climate change and provide sustainable opportunities to underserved communities and businesses.
The winners of the AFIIP 2021 edition include Stryve, a digital banking platform for unbanked SMEs in Egypt; Ahmini, an intermediator for rural women to access social protection and insurance in Tunisia; and Syndo, a crowdfunding platform for SMEs in Egypt. AFIIP is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the most promising and impactful financial inclusion and green finance initiatives in the Arab world
